  • What is tree pruning?

Pruning is the cutting or removal of branches or parts of a tree to improve the tree's shape or growth. Pruning is the most common tree maintenance procedure performed by tree services. It is done as a preventative or corrective measure to clear out dead branches, remove crowded or rubbing limbs, eliminate hazards, and increase light and air penetration.

  • What's wrong with tree topping?

Tree topping is the practice of removing tree branches or tree tops so that they are left as stubs. This is done to reduce the size of the tree.

Tree topping is an extremely harmful practice, and professional tree services strongly advise against it. Topping may be highly hazardous in the long term and is very harmful to the tree’s health.

  • Why should I hire a licensed contractor with full coverage?

The answer is simple: protection! Accidents occur at any time. Do you want to be held responsible if something goes wrong?

When you hire a licensed tree care professional for tree services, they should have $1,000,000 in liability insurance, workers' compensation, and complete vehicle insurance. Make sure they have the proper coverage; don’t get caught unaware!

  • Will you remove a large stump in my yard?

Yes, stump removal is one of the professional tree services we provide. In addition to removing your stump, we can also grind it. Stump removal is done with a Kubota machine.

  • When should my trees be pruned?

You can hire professional tree services for light tree pruning at any time of the year. Heavy pruning should be done from late winter to early spring. A tree pruning wound will close faster before new shoots arrive. This will also help with insects and disease spores.

If you have a tree that flowers before the end of spring, you should have it pruned as soon as the flowers are gone. If the tree flowers after May, it should be pruned in the spring. For flowering evergreens, spring is the best time. Finally, all conifers should be pruned during the winter to stop the sap from bleeding.

  • When is the necessary time to remove a tree?

Hiring professional tree services for tree removal should be your last resort. Trees are some of your most valuable assets. Only a certified arborist should conduct a thorough inspection to determine if a tree needs to be removed.

Tree removal should only happen when a tree presents a hazard or is damaged beyond repair. There are other ways to improve the health of the tree. Our team can help you find solutions to prevent the need for tree removal.

  • Do you offer 24-hour emergency service?
